In 1994, I was the President of the Central States VHF Society. The main task was to sponsor the annual conference. This was accomplished with the assistance the Vice President, Joel Harrison WB5IGF (now W5ZN), my wife Cissy N4ZRW, my brother Rex KQ0Z and several local amateurs to be mentioned below. This came with some degree of difficulty because this was also the year that I decided to move to Virginia. This madefor an especially busy year for Cissy and me. To facilitate all the preparations and the conference itself, I made extensive use of Microsoft Office and the Access database. Below are examples of products which I developed for the Society's annual conference, as well as related other information. Data used for many conference products was collected in the registration mailing. Hover your mouse cursor over the images for text details. |
In 1997, I was the Wilson Award recipient for service to the Society. Read Kent Britain's presentation comments. |
