N4MW Hallicrafters Page

When I first started out, I bought a used Hallicrafters S-120 receiver from W&W Distributing in Memphis, from Cora Wooten herself.  I did use this as a novice receiver, but it was not really intended to be used as a communications receiver and was supplanted with an ARC-5.  I have recently obtained another one for my nostalgia collection.  OK -  two - they are cheap.

I used a few other receivers over the years, including the SX-71 and SX-100, which belonged to friends.
