Over the years I developed the habit of stuffing old hamfest tickets, buttons, ribbons and related memorabilia into a sack. Recently I thought it might be nice to obtain a more suitable container to display the stuff. I thought back to my youth and remembered seeing large glass battery jars like the railroad used to power semaphore lights along the track. I also had seen the jars cleaned out to use as tanks for raising bettas. It did not take long on eBay to find one just as I remembered it - even with the original top. You can see from the pictures below that my hamfest stuff fits nicely, with room to grow.
